On October 19, 2025, Rongbaozhai Publishing House and Hangzhou Dai Dunbang Art Center formally established a strategic partnership. With the mission of “preserving classic Chinese art and promoting the innovative transformation of traditional culture,” the two parties will integrate their respective platform and resource advantages to jointly build a culturally influential cooperation model for the times.
The collaboration will revolve around “academic leadership, industrial synergy, and shared success in communication.” It will systematically advance the construction of a research system for Dai Dunbang’s art, jointly undertake academic publishing and cultural IP transformation, and promote the integration of classic art into the public sphere and contemporary society.

In 2026, the two parties plan to jointly host the “Dai Dunbang Thematic Academic Art Exhibition” at Rongbaozhai, showcasing his iconic series of works, such as Outlaws of the Marsh, among other literary classics. The event will also feature the release of the new book Rongbaozhai Painting Guide—Dai Dunbang Volume and a donation ceremony for his artworks.

This cooperation, initiated on the occasion of the opening of the Hangzhou Dai Dunbang Art Center, further deepens the exploration of cultural heritage and innovation by both parties. Rongbaozhai Publishing House will provide academic and exhibition platform support, while the Art Center will be responsible for the integration of art resources and local collaborations. Together, they will write a new chapter of “building friendships through culture and cherishing honor as treasure.”
